Probably the circles I moved in back when I was in a band but I went with plenty of good time girls. Nothing serious but great fun.
My favourite was big tits Kim, a septic 'go-go girl' who had short cropped hair and LOADS of sexy syrups. I used to phone her up to go to the Kit Kat club and request what hair I wanted for my girlfriend that night. Usually a really strict red bob or platinum blonde.

I was knocking off his favourite prostitute at the time (so long ago that I don't even remember her name...Leanne? Maybe? and no, I didn't pay).
She once showed me a cheque he'd made out for her for a grand. I thought it was pretty ballsy that he'd left a potential paper trail and she said that he was a nice, kind bloke. Used to love employing a vibrator as I recall and she said it was fine and he was very gentle

Yeah this is right and confirmed In the excellent Sit Down and Cheer by Hammers fan Martin Kelner. Its a light hearted look at the history of sport on tv....well worth a read.
Anyway RIP Frank..Nationwide will never be the same!

There was a huge scandal when it emerged that he was into cocaine and prostitutes and his career never recovered.
When you look back on what some of his contemporaries were doing at the time, it doesn’t seem so bad.
I can’t believe he was only in his 40’s in the 80’s. He looked about 70 then.
RIP.
